Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Canteen menu

Canteen information

It is operated each day by a paid supervisor who is assisted by volunteers (parents and grandparents) to provide healthy and nutritious food for the students.

If you would like to volunteer please come in and have a chat with our friendly staff, we always need your help. Grandparents, aunts, and uncles are also welcome. Our shifts are 9am–12pm and 12pm–2pm.

Orders for lunch are to be placed with the canteen before 9:20am.

As well as offering healthy food on a daily basis, the canteen runs a number of ‘special days' and promotions during the year. Examples are: easter lunch packs, early morning big breakfasts, BBQ's and more. All of these are very popular and enjoyable treats for the students.

If we are introducing some new items to the menu we will have a taste testing asking for the student's and teacher's feedback.

The canteen also contributes financially to the Manly West parents and citizens association. These funds are used by the school to assist in the provision of facilities and equipment for the school.
